Habits

It's not that I haven't been drawing....it's just that I've been drawing stuff for other people that I can't actually post (yet?).

Anyways, here's a bunch of sketches I got out of my system tonight. I was on vacation for the past week so I didn't get a lot of chances to draw. It's sooooo weird to draw for fun!

All Red-dy

I've been working on this one off-an-on for about a month between other commissions, but I decided to just try and power through the whole thing last night.

Process!

I've wanted to learn to make .gifs for a long time, and I did a sketch I like today, sooooo...here it is!

Knock Knock

I've been working hard on some pretty cool freelance jobs as well as trying to get a new personal project off the ground! I really want to start doodling in sketchbooks again...

Flannel

My meager little warm-up sketch. Just got back from a week of literally no drawing, and I'm going through a surge of drawing right now. Cutting my way through commissions feels pretty good.

Printer

Did this illustration as an accomplishment for an article about printing problems/solutions. Loving my new brushes....

Ooops.

I was doing so well with the posting! Oh well.....there's been a bit of a boom in my commissions and freelance work lately, so it's been keeping me on my toes. Here's some warm-up sketches:

Crescent

As much as I'm loving my new brushes and some brighter colors (must be spring creeping up), I can't help but love the moodier stuff too. It's pretty cool creating art completely on the computer, though...I'm definitely not missing cleaning eraser marks off my inks!

Macarooni

I'm loving the Ted Webster brushes I just got! It's just so much fun playing around with different styles and colors.

Dress Up

I usually don't dress up for the studio, but I've been trying to pull some of my fancier get-ups out of the closet lately. Sooo much color going to waste in there.....

Long Time

I haven't posted super-recently, but I've been busy on a whole myriad of projects, some that I won't talk about yet, some that I hope to be posting some art from soon!

I was in a REALLY sketchy mood tonight, so here's something tonight before I can post the art dump tomorrow....

Cupcake Wars

Literally? Anyways, this is Red Velvet. All digital, in an attempt to draw and color something for fun every day before starting commissions.

Color!

I reallly want to start drawing more, so I set a goal to draw and color something everyday. I'm hoping this'll start sparking up some extra creativity and keep me learning.

The Tink drawing is for my boyfriend's mom! She loves Tinkerbell and so do I, so I wanted to draw her a little something. :)
