Revisiting some Wendybird! I already did an illustration for this scene in the book, but I kind of thought this would be pretty so I wanted to draw it. I'm all about the pretty pictures.

It feels like forever since I've had any kind of time to draw anything too involved, so this was really fun. :'D

Bluebeard

Our final illustration is pretty open, so I'm just doing a "cover" image for the fairytale Bluebeard. I really liked this sketch, so I did a quick color study with it.

My bf and I have been watching all those really cool speedpainting vids lately (namely idrawgirls), and I really haven't "painted" anything recently, so I did a sketch of a character I've wanted to work on a bit.

A little work in progress painting of my younger sister! Needs a lot of work, but I wanted to at least try and do some digital paintings this summer.

Master-copy in process! It's John Singer Sargent's "Madam X", but done digitally (wacom and photoshop). Spent a little less than an hour on it so far, planning on many more. :'D

Edit: decided to just post all the process work here rather than spamming my blog with a bazillion process pieces...
