Long Time

I haven't posted super-recently, but I've been busy on a whole myriad of projects, some that I won't talk about yet, some that I hope to be posting some art from soon!

I was in a REALLY sketchy mood tonight, so here's something tonight before I can post the art dump tomorrow....

Bluebeard

Our final illustration is pretty open, so I'm just doing a "cover" image for the fairytale Bluebeard. I really liked this sketch, so I did a quick color study with it.

Ughhhhhh this was so much fun. I think I'm going to head back to it before it's due on Tuesday, but I'm pretty happy with it.

In one of my classes we're working on hot sauce labels, so I'm doing a set of three mythology-based ones....here's the "hot" one.

And a little work-in-progress shot.....the snakes were so much fun!

Here are my (tentative!) cover illustrations for my thesis, which is an illustrated young adult novel based loosely on Peter Pan, written by my sister. I did a quick type treatment too...but it all might change. Not really sure on any of it yet.

My bf and I have been watching all those really cool speedpainting vids lately (namely idrawgirls), and I really haven't "painted" anything recently, so I did a sketch of a character I've wanted to work on a bit.

(It's a one-page modern interpretation of the Golden Apple myth: Paris of Troy on a dating site choosing his favorite of the three Goddesses)
